Has anyone else had a problem with one of the cooker rings becoming loose in my cali? If so how did you overcome this problem? I was thinking of just gluing the black holders in place although not really keen on doing this. Any idea please?! I also need a replacement lockable water cap for my cali, can anyone advise?
Thanks Mrs JH

you can buy replacement rubber hob grommets in our shop that will stop it rattling

The grommets for the hob rings are sold in the forum shop.

Perhaps new grommets would hold better. I have the opposite problem of getting the rings off to clean.

They I think sale the black parts in the forum shop your old ones may have worn. The locking water cap i wouldhave thought could be picked up at most motorhome supplier.
If your Cali is in warranty cooker would be covered under that.

Kev beat me to it ...

He's just so quick ...

The little black things that hold the rings in place seem to break in time , probaly due to the heat....mine has already one failure after two years
They can easyli be replaced , i think they are in the forumshop , no...?

the ones in the shop are more rubbery and flexible

Bam...three answers in one minute....

The VW part number for the support is 7H7070157A. This is the rubber washer that slides up the leg of the wire cooker grid and new ones may help.

Although the VW dealer will also be able to source this for you too.[/SIZE]

Hope that helps.
