Hi, does anyone have any tips regarding driving into Antwerp and Brussels. Am I allowed to drive into a low emmission zone? I have a 2011 diesel Cali. I have no idea what category we are. I found this tariff grid (attached) for Antwerp and am not sure if we are M1, M2 or N1. Thanks in advance for any help. upload_2019-3-21_13-51-3.png

Hi Nick and Emma, since some year I see all kinds of camera's appearing here in Brussels, but till now I have no notice of them functioning yet. Idem for section controls (speed) which are already installed for years, but without proper legislation following, so still harmless. Not sure about Antwerp. HC?
You have to register at https://lez.brussels/en, and also (separately) in Antwerp at https://www.slimnaarantwerpen.be/nl/lez/registratie-toegelaten-buitenlandse-voertuigen
there are also registration 'machines': https://www.slimnaarantwerpen.be/en/lez/lez-machines
concerning the codes its M1

Worth noting that in Antwerp you always need to register. Even when you drive a T6 or Tesla (they can get in for free). If you don't register you'll get a fine.
"Camperplaats Vogelzang" is just outside the zone. Consider taking public transport from here. It's just 10 minutes to the centre and you'll save lot's of money. You wouldn't enjoy driving into the centre at all. There are major roadworks going on in the centre.

Only can agree on the above .
Need to register even if you are euro6 when your verhicle is registred outside Belgium.

Yes I think we'll take your advice and pull into Camperplaats Vogelzang - will be a lot less stressful!
