Just had them put on my Berghaus by Exeter VW van centre. Totally transform the handling and bargain at £335.

Was that £335 inc VAT ?

Was that front and rear....?

As I got quoted about £700.......

Front and rear, 30mm, VW lowering springs, 335 inc vat. Can't believe the difference it has made on the handling side. Also van looks much better.

VW at Plympton really were anti re fitting them....said I would spoil the ride....

So it is better........?

Why so cheap as they said the fronts would take several hours to fit...?

Massive difference all for the better IMO, slightly harsher on bumpy roads but nothing to worry about. VW Plympton, had dealings with them before, wouldn't go near them. Suffice to say, smg were doing this at 420 around Christmas and 330 at the next event, I believe. Price is ~220 for springs and 1.25hours labour I think.

If its anything like as transformative as it was when I lowered my T25 Autosleeper by 35mm, then I'm totally with you... It turned it from feeling like I was driving a wallowing barge into a responsive car.
The passengers much prefer it too, my daughters used to get travel sick quite often when riding in the back... But haven't done since lowering.

fluctuating vw dealership prices does seem to be an issue and i think if the dealership is in need of trade and return business they would take a loss on some things to guarantee you to return.
there's always someone that will do it cheaper ...
