Wow! How long for the window? I’m amazed there’s no U.K. stock. What if it had been smashed, how long would you be expected to drive an insecure van with a polythene and gaffer tape window? And what would the insurance company have to say about that? Not good.

Yep that is the position and no date given on delivery. Apparently this is becoming a very common fault on the 6.1 and service manager said yesterday that he has another one coming into today! It is a design fault and basically the drainage in the design easily gets overwhelmed and water overflows into the window channel and into the van, unbelievable! Good news is that all such faults are reported to VW so that they can resolve the design fault. Hopefully they will add the overhead display for camper mode?!

I have to say that I tried last night and struggled (failed) to find them. But that's probably user error
