We have got 3 white mugs that have a brown stain in them that even after 4 washes have still got the stain.
Now I seem to remember that in the old days we used some crystals, I think, to clean stained crockery, has anyone got any clues please.

I know there is a shortage of medical workers but didn't think they'd resorted to using false teeth instead

:D

Sorry Eileen, going off on a tangent

You could try bicarbonate soda and hot water.

Maybe best to buy tea coloured melamine to start with :D

It used to drive me nuts cleaning melamine cups.

I used everything from steradent tablets to drain cleaning acid.

Then I threw away the melamine and got a shed load of superb quality insulated disposable cups form a catering supplier.

Result is peace and tranquility in Albert , no washing up, no burnt fingers, no yucky looking cups.
