1991 VW Golf MkII, bought in 2001:



1999 VW Golf MkIV 1.9TDI (110HP), bought in 2004:



2002 VW Golf MkIV 1.9TDI (90hp), bought in 2005 after I ditched the blue one :


Replaced the whole interior of the blue one into this grey one.

And now of course a 2010 VW California, bought in 2010:

Full race Swiftune. Steel crank/I beam rods etc. Race cam. Dry deck etc. Straight cuts. We had the motor on the dyno last week. 140@7750/110 torques.

Excellent. Swiftune are top notch. I bought Glynns personal Metro Turbo many years ago and still have motor stashed in the garage.. Possibly go into my Innocenti hatchback when I get round to it. Didnt know Glynn had died until talking to his son at the Pau Classic a couple of years ago.

I do love a Mk4 TDi. Currently running a 2002 150. Every possible stamp since new in the book. 230k. Runs like new. Rocket ship.

1965 Chevrolet Impala convertible I paid $125, fun while it lasted
1967 BMW 1600 4 door great handling and comfortable ride (I commuted on the amazing Highway 1)
1966 BMW 1800 4 door ditto
1959 Volvo pv544 handled like a slot car
1973 Mazda Rx2 If you've never driven a Wankel rotary, it's almost as vibration free as today's electrics, tons of torque but in high revs
1970 Triumpf TR6 The most fun I have ever had driving a car, bar none.

Mexico City:
1979 Mustang Cobra 5.0 Ugly hood decal, V8/auto/air con to deal with insane traffic behavior and congestion
1980 VW Golf diesel no power (pre-turbo, Mexico City is at 2300m altitude) but over 1000km per tank
1980 Chevrolet Malibu hardtop again, a tank to deal with the traffic

Barcelona:
NEW 1990 BMW 318is my first new car, BMW's first 16v, fun for a four, but I always regretted not getting a 325i
1980 Opel Corsa 1.2 the bimmer went for a down payment on my first flat in BCN
1982 Yamaha 250 first motorcycle, even took it to the Pyrenees
NEW 1992 Suzuki Bandit 400 The most fun I have ever had driving any vehicle, bar none
1978 BMW 323i So entertaining that I never turned on the radio, the amazing music from the mechanical fuel injection was enough. A friend is still rallying this car.
1990 Ford Orion Ghia cheap daily driver to spare the 323i
2014 Beach 140 Not a car, a way of life, should have done it sooner.

Very nice. Back in the day I was a Mini fanboy, you had either a Mini or an Escort back then with the occasional tuned Imp. I remember David Vizard's tuning book as the bible then.
