I've come to the conclusion that the multi spoke Rally Raid style of wheel is not the way to go. The swamper aesthetic is better served by these 17 inchers IMO. 235 65R17 tyres. What says the hive mind?

Anyone know the reason for the extended centre hub cover? Is it to pack full of grease to ensure lubrication under extreme conditions such as water and sand? What about the 2cm screw in extensions that encircle the wheel marked by the red arrowsView attachment 120265
I've been thinking the opposite, but still so conflicted. Liking the Black Rhino Arsenals, but I love my shine and polish; and I could imagine absolute HELL with the ArsenalsI've come to the conclusion that the multi spoke Rally Raid style of wheel is not the way to go. But if you cant see the brake dust, does it matter?Just imagine trying to remove brake dust from those! Even if you ceramic coat them from new to make it easier those will be a nightmare to keep clean.

Jimmy thought the same. (Black van). Just to visually break it up. But not sure how I feel about a two tone wheel. Seems a bit like a Pineapple and Ham pizza to me.The Calico in gunmetal grey with black matte lip would look nice on that grey Cali and might be to your taste:

Perfecto.I still cant decide whether a black Cali with black wheels works or not. What are the opinions of the bearded regulars?

You need to rotate that filler cap. More aerodynamic. Finally got around to having it all fitted. Black Rhino Calico with a General Grabber AT3 in 235/55R17 103H. Pleased with the look really, could have gone for a bigger profile tyre but decided to play it safe and keep it stock.
Should be getting a black bike rack in a couple of weeks which will make it look even better.

Also like the alloys too, I guess....
But it's not even vertical! Look, just message me your address and i'll come round and turn it myself. And you really need to speak to a therapist about your OCD.

On a serious note, they do look ace. You need some aftermarket tints now on those windows to add to the black depth.
I’m maybe too old for a midlife crisis (54), but I’m about to order a California. It’s going to be swamperish or swamper capable, but I’ll keep it standard to start with.
Fontana Red
4 Motion
Diff lock
Sports Pack
Wooden floor
Tow bar
Shower
2nd drawer
Comfort mattress
Didn’t think I would be going back to a diesel after being full electric for the past 3 years, but I’m not going to wait for the Buzz version, so roll on summer!

Thanks, I’ve not seen Fontana Red in person yet, but it looks great in your pictures. Putting all-terrain tyres on would be an option, but going with all the feedback on this “very expensive thread” 17” would be better, I’ll wait and see.Welcome to this very expensive thread
Like your spec choices but not sure on the wooden floor for five hundred sheets, think most end up putting carpet over it. If you’re speccing the Sports Pack I guess you’ll keep the OEM 18” alloys…any plans to put all-terrain tyres on those?
