Motorway Services Recommendation

Didn’t think I would ever recommend Motorway Services for anything but, en route to Ullapool I stopped overnight at Cairn Lodge Services last night.

These people already own Tebay Services on the M6 in the Lakes area which are a cut above.

They have kicked into touch the traditional image of Motorway Services.
£8 to stay over with brand new washroom facilities including showers and with it being a mile off the M74 it was not busy and quiet.
Prices seemed cheaper than normal too.
I know many prefer a wild spot for a quick overnighter but if having some facilities is required & on the way to Scotland I’d recommend Tebay & Cairn Lodge.
