Munich-Venice-UK

Does anyone have any must sees or must stays en route from Munich to the UK via Venice at the end of Jan: 2 weeks travelling from Munich. I have to be in Munich for work last minute on 28 January and will head down to Venice from there and back to UK perhaps via lakes and Switzerland.
