Hello California Community,
I recently purchased Twin Monotube Project AT5 8x17 Granit Konkav wheels for my VW T6.1 California (7HC). I plan to mount 225/65 R17 tires on these rims. I already have the TÜV certificate for these wheels and a confirmation letter from the German distributor (Deimann Fahrwerktechnik) stating that these wheels are compatible with my vehicle.
However, the Romanian Road Authority (Registrul Auto Român) is requesting additional documentation. They would like to see an example of a German vehicle registration document (Fahrzeugschein/Zulassungsbescheinigung) showing these wheels with 225/65 R17 tires registered on a similar VW California T6.1.
Is anyone with a VW California T6.1 who has registered this wheel/tire combination (or similar aftermarket setup) willing to share a redacted copy of their registration document? All personal information can be blacked out - I only need to show the technical section that mentions the wheel/tire combination.
This would be incredibly helpful for completing my registration process in Romania.
