Following from a nice get together last week + the Cotswolds a few of us decided we'd like to have another meet before the end of the year.

Details for the meet are as follows -

Date: 31st Oct -> 2nd Nov 14
Price: £20 per night (This has now been reduced to £15 per night/per van!!)
Payment Details - Arrive when you like, park in a circle and we'll go and pay on Saturday morning en masse.
Hookup: Sold Out
Cards: Accepted
WiFi: Free
Marshamallows: Plenty in stock!!

You are of course very welcome to extend your stay either side of those dates if you wish.

Those wondering about the weather forecast - Who cares we'll enjoy ourselves!! :laugh2

The campsite has a reputation for extreme flexibility as well as a soft spot for VW's and as such do not charge for the usual extra's such as Children, Tents, Gazeebo's, Dogs etc. Furthermore they allow the erection of an event shelter or similar as well as small bonfires and will allow us to park close together if we wish.

They boast -

With magnificent views across the western Solent approaches to the Isle of Wight and the Needles rocks, Solent View is set in an unrivalled area of natural and unspoilt beauty.

This weekend also has the added advantage of being their Halloween and Bonfire Night on Sat 1st. Providing a large bonfire and fireworks for all, free of charge. Visitors are also invited to bring their own fireworks but these must be handed over to the staff and only be set off by the authorised person at the campsite.

There will be Burgers & Baked Spuds for sale as well as face painting for the kids.

Edit - On Friday evening there will be a 'Trick or Treat' organised by some of the mums for the kids. Fancy Dress is optional.

Could be a nice place to take bikes I think.

Don't worry too much about payment at the moment. Once I have numbers I will post here again with the details. I suspect it will be direct to the site, that's better for everyone.

We had a lovely time at our first meet in Cirencester so would love to join you for Bonfire & Fireworks in Hampshire. Going to need to buy a topper we think for this trip, we got lucky with the weather at the end of Sept.

It's not a problem, I wouldn't expect you to. It's Adrian, Joanne and the nieces are Grace and Sophie. We hope to come Friday night but it might be Saturday morning, is that okay?

Once I have a better idea of numbers I will speak to the site again to see how they want to manage payments but my preferance will be to book and pay directly to the site.
