We took our Cali for a major service and it's first MOT to Breeze yesterday.
Our second visit there and it was just how you would hope it would be. Both Helen & I felt that the drive there is worth it for the confidence that everything will be well looked after. Our handover was prompt, efficient and friendly. They offer to drop you in a local place where you can explore and collect you when your vehicle is ready. The Dorset area is very pleasant to explore whist your vehicle is being worked on. A very good experience all round.

I'm coming up 3 years this Deember, ready for a service and 1st MOT plus the annoying kitchen strip light issue.
Going to book it in soon.

Just cancelled my MOT & Service at Poole as they’ve moved to tier 4.

4 Years old now and low mileage so not getting the cam belt done anyway.

Will get MOT done locally and service at a later date.

Totally understand if you want don't want to travel but just to reassure you and any other members that all our Breeze Van Centres are fully open for Aftersales which is allowed in Tier 4. We have taken all the precautions to be Covid Secure and as there are no MOT extension in place as there were back in March then we are carrying on with all bookings.

I'll try make this as concise as possible :)

Moved to Salisbury from Scotland Start of 2020, I had a T5.1 panel van I'd converted, it went to Breeze last summer for some brake work and an intermittent problem, the guys at breeze I felt went out there way to work out the problem, unfortunately they didn't quite work it out, but the replacement vehicle I got as well as tech support was superb.

I then at the end of Jan this year (2021) decided I wanted a change and I got the opportunity to trade my 2014 T5.1 in for a 2018 Cali.
All communication was done remotely, promptly and really clearly in my opinion, the van was delivered within 5 days of enquiry.
Rather unfortunately there where a few items that needed some attention that had gotten past the pre sale checks, but the garage were superb, they came and re-collected the van as soon as it was possible.
While the issues where investigated again I got a great replacement vehicle as stand in.
There was no objections to the points I had brought up and the garage put the Cali back to rights.
While the van was away I got regular updates from my sales contact (Jon Follows) which was superb.
On receiving the van back, the workmanship to correct the issues was apparent - again what I had already witnessed from my previous van service work. I believe the resident Cali expert (Tom) was the guy on the job - thank you.

I have had some dreadful experiences with main dealerships but Breeze is very different indeed.

The highly motivated team whom quite obviously have pride and in depth knowledge of what they are doing day to day is quite obvious. Quite honestly a breath of fresh air.

There is a standard that has been set here which other garages should be looking to follow.

A great garage I will be using again and quite honestly recommending to as many folk as I can.

Thank you for taking the time to give us this feedback Chris. I'm really pleased both Jon and one of our California Specialist Technicians (which was Tim, he does get called Tom as well as plenty of other names!!) looked after you on your recent visit to Breeze Van Centre in Poole.

We always try really hard to make sure every customer is looked after and love paying particular attention to our California customers. There will always be occasions when things go wrong but we are certainly committed to trying our very best to get it right and it is lovely when our customers take the time to recognise it.

I’ve just scanned this post and can’t see a mention of Emma at Breeze Poole? She had the patience of a saint with me! 6mths ago she was quoting me for vans - I was still dithering over whether a) to get a van, b) whether to get old or new and c) whether I wanted a Cali or a Conversion. No hard sell, just great information and Un-pressured help. When I contacted her again and asked pretty similar questions, she provided me with the facts and figures I needed to make a decision and a great deal that I couldn’t say no to. All of this was done over email and the phone. So convenient and beyond helpful. I’ve placed an order and I get a weekly update from her as to the status of the van. I’m so appreciative for her sales style and couldn’t recommend her enough!!
 
Glad to hear that. I didnt buy from Breeze but this was way back in 2014. They just failed to return calls back then. Never obtained a quote or took a test drive, just gave up. I then went to Guildford, 3% offered then moved to 4% and was told take it or leave it. So I bought over the phone from VW North Wales in 15mins after a recommendation on this Forum from someone, again local to Breeze. (He also had a similar experience).

Similarly when I was going to change in 2017 I couldn't obtain a price from Breeze , or a straight forward response even though I knew the discount expected. It was my spec van without the electric side door.

On plus side I have a very good working relationship with Derek at Southampton, and I trust him with my Cali!

Thanks for the positive comments about Emma, I will pass them on to her. We are delighted to have her as part of our team at Breeze and I'm pleased to hear that Emma's hard work and manner with customers is being recognised. We try really hard on communication as we know how important it is, so even if there is no real news we try to keep in touch to let you know you are not forgotten about. Hopefully not too much longer to wait for you before you can be enjoying your new California.

I'll give you guys first dibs when / if I look to replace. The only fly in the oilment is I still adore my Cali.

Now if you could just nip over to Landrover and offers some guidance it would be very much appreciated.

Derek at Southampton is great, I now live in Scotland but will still get my van serviced at Breeze Southampton and tie it in with a trip to the in-laws in Christchurch.
 
I've just done a deal with Tom at Breeze for my Cali, and he beat SMG by miles. SMG sold my van to me and the tried to steal it. Very disappointed with them...looking forward to picking up our New Cali in September, my choice on the date.

Hopefully all will go well.
