Night heater operation

Just a quick question regarding the night heater fitted to my Cali, should it be ticking continuously when its switched on?

Yup. That's the dosing pump doinh its job. Normally starts quite enthusiastically, along with the blower until your desired temperature is reached then slows down to a steady slow tick. Perfectly normal.

Cheers, I wasn't sure if it was supposed to just do that when starting or when running. It gets quiet hot, even on the lowest setting.

Yeah. On the lowest setting it does still boot out a decent amount of heat. I guess it can't go to low otherwise the heater would effectively have to go through the start up cycle every time there was demand for heat.
