I haven't been anywhere that reaches that temp so I guess I'm ok!I had problems with the sticky pad method (no frame just straight to body) coming undone/detached in direct sunlight during heatwave when the different expansion rates of the backing alloy and perspex front made the numberplate curve levering the pad off at one end.

Last summer in Normandy, Cali parked top down, fortunately not sleeping in it.I haven't been anywhere that reaches that temp so I guess I'm ok!
You can get special number plate tape, double sided with a foam layer. No holes in my number plate or back door.Don’t drill any holes. Take those off and throw them in the bin. Get some nice plates and put them on with 3M double sided tape.
The holes were installed at the factory. You can get special number plate tape, double sided with a foam layer. No holes in my number plate or back door.
Goes with the 2p of crappy tape needed to keep the interior dry.£65k on a van and 10p for some crappy tape to hold the plates on.
Classic.
Not in my 2014 Cali the weren't, it's tape that holds it on, just replaced one side last month as is came loose. The holes were installed at the factory.
