Trying to renew our policy with Comfort and have been told we need to keep the Cali in a garage or on a drive as they no longer cover on street parked vehicles !!

We dont have either so are now shopping around

I considered Comfort but didn't bother when they said I had to let them know if I was going to leave the Cali unattended outside of the garage for more than 72 hours! What nonsense, stayed with VW in the end.

bigted. I think you can stay with VW if you are already insured by them but it's more difficult as a new customer.

I was told their underwriters did not like Cali's. The dealer was some what perplexed! Like you say it may be because you were an existing customer.
