If it is anything like my Passat digi dash - I have one on the rev and one on the speedo - one is fuel tank level, the other is instant fuel consumption - so if it move when your accelerate/decelerate, probably the fuel consumption.I cant find anything in my ocean manual to explain the rev counter inner blue circle moves and has white pointer arrow on it , can anyone help or explain what it is and does i have had the van 4 months and only just noticed it moves !

whats more intriguing is there is not a jot of info about in anywhere in the manual or online its driving me nuts as its not what has been mentioned above as i noticed it doesnt go in the direction it should for better consumption it is odd

On my Passat the bar moves clockwise on light throttle - i.e. shows better mpg and anti-clockwise as you apply the throttle - showing less mpg. I'm assuming it should be much the same on the Cali dash. Unfortunately still waiting for ours to be delivered so can't confirm.

My 1966 MGB had a vacuum gauge calibrated red, amber and green to indicate fuel consumption. It was accurate enough to indicate what a heavy right foot was doing to the fuel consumption.
No, it’s a gimmick with no real advantage other than to make you feel good about yourself. Wait, that’s a bonus in itself!
