We had to use the heater in our Beach last week in The Vendee in France, freezing during the night.

I'm not surprised. A lot of people think it's just for winter, but we use ours all year. Sometimes it's just to help rid the van of Morning dampness or the evening chill. Other times it's sitting around the van on a chilly day.
Regardless, I would say it's the single most important campervan option.

Somebody from VW Ireland must be reading this post,because i stated that the current brochure on line went back to 2011, they have removed this and put up a new price list with no brochure .We have to view brochure on the UK or German websites , Not very helpful when your buying a California.
