Osram Onyx Replacement Lamp

I’ve read the various threads on replacement ‘bendy light’ as after 8 years or so ours has broken. Now have the Osram replacement and wanting to now take off the old one and put this one in. As a total novice on vehicle electrics what part do those who have done this attach to the wires from the old light (I know which fuse to remove etc) to connect to the new one, says something about amp 626064 which online only seem to be available in bulk order? Thanks

I did this recently.

Take the fuse out whilst you do the job, and then put it back again afterwards.

Snip off the old connector from the wires from the van, and then use an electrical strip connector (from DIY store), to connect the wires from the new lamp to the wires coming out of the van.

The only tricky point is to REMEMBER is:

Black to Brown and Red to Green (credit to Welshgas).

It's easy - just take your time. Good luck.
