Over winter battery charging

I’ve been reading several conflicting posts on whether or not i should leave my 680 hooked up over winter. I would have thought that 2020 battery management systems should be advanced enough to leave it plugged in but I can’t find any technical information to support this.
Any info appreciated ......

Watching this with interest. I leave mine plugged in, and also give it a 15/20 mile run every couple of weeks if I’ve not otherwise did used it. Be interested if there’re any counter views

I have always left my T5.1 plugged in over winter. No problems in the last 5+ years
