Planar Comfort control install issue

I have a Planar diesel heater - installed by the excellent Planar Pete - with a PU27 controller, plus separate modem.

Last year I bought a Comfort control thinking that it would be a simple ‘plug and play’ swap, but couldn’t get it to work in spite of removing and replacing the relevant fuse / fuses.

I just tried again and got a Code 30 ‘ connection fault’ partly shown on the photo. Strangely, when I swap back to the PU27 that works.

Has anybody done this and, if so, can you offer any advice?

Try the T6 Forum. More of those heaters fitted to conversions than Californias.
