Pop top bonding

had a proper look at the way the pop top structure seats on the roof, particularly having removed a large number of bugs from it today at the car wash, and the gap seems bigger than it should be.

Does this look any different to everyone else’s van? It’s where the pop top complete bonds with the original roof rather than where the top closes down. Key for scale.

No it’s a 2021, had it just over 2 years. Can’t work out if it’s getting worse or it’s paranoia!

Think it’s normal. Agree it’s a death trap for bugs though

Hard to measure with micrometer because the opening tapers, but around 2mm at the start.
