Pop top coming down on its own

Hi everyone just trying to see if anyone else has suffered from this my girlfriend was away in her cali last week and last night she was woken up by the roof starting to come down on its on or the sound it makes when you bring it down any ideas would be brilliant cheers

How long had the roof been up? It sometimes does a correction (re pump) after some days, and the motor / pump fires up, but that wouldn't explain it actually starting to come down.

I think it checks the roof up sensors 10 hours from when the ignition was last on and then every 5 hours. Ours always drops a bit, so runs every night we put it up. We turn the ignition on and off before going to bed to avoid a 3am rude awakening!

Was she woken up by the roof coming down ?
Or was she woken up by the roof going up automaticly when it was lowerd during long periode up ....?
If the second , there are various threads on this if you look on the forum.
If the first , she's a very light sleeper....or it must have come down "on " her ?
My guess the roof was up a few days in hot weather ...?
