Power steering and adding a VW fit mfsw

Hi there. I am literally about to buy my first California tomorrow. Second hand but 2016 from a dealership.
So exited. But wanted to know if they all have Power steering. I imagine they must but some advertise it as a feature and some don't. Probably a silly Q
Also I've read the posts about adding mfsw buttons - can VW do this for you. Thank you. Looking forward to being part of the forums and enjoying our beautiful new van.

Hi yes you are right they all have power steering. The multifunction steering wheel buttons would be fitted by an aftermarket company like

Welcome on your first post .
Do they sell any car without powerstering now a days....?

Best to take a good look at the front seats , make sure they swivel , when buying a demo or T6 2nd hand.

I can't speak for the T6, but most of the wheel functionality works on the stalks for me in my T5. The only thing I am missing is answer and hang up phone but I don't like to make calls driving and it seems a lot of cash for a small functionality improvement. I can still skip tracks, change radio, as well as all the MFD functions from the stalks.

Deal did fall through unfortunately. Gutted but Still looking though. Thanks for the replies and help so far. Thinking of now buying a 2016 beach instead of the ocean. I could easily get a sink etc put into it. But. Can an ocean lux Dashboard be fitted to a beach ???

Yes its called the comfort dash I believe.

Yes it is called the comfort dash, and it comes with the 3 zone Aircon.

It could be, but very expensive and involved unless you are handy with a spanner and auto-electrics. :thumb

Thanks mate. Handy with a spanner but probably not that handy. And definately not electrics. Do you know if the dealers can do this at VW. Not an aftermarket company.

I'm sure they could, however I doubt if they would be interested. No harm in asking.
