Pre purchase 680 questions, need more advice please.

So, we have a medium WB self build Sprinter, we want something bigger with permanent beds, torn between a Hymer ML-T coachbuilt or the Grand 680. The VW will drive better and be good on smaller roads, the Hymer will have better insulation but drive like snail.

We can get quite a new VW for £70k but the Sprinter Hymer will be 2017.

I've done a fair bit of reading here and they (VW) do have few issues that aren't easily user fixable, I want more solare and Lithium as we do now, ( mainly cl sites) it seems that VW Grand is difficult to upgrade electrics.

The one we are after has good spec and only 3K miles. Please give me more to think about. We can't find a 680 to rent/try. This is what the dealer sent. It's Blue.
