Hi, we’ve just taken the plunge and bought our first Cali and are about to hit the continent with the kids. I’ve got a few basic questions:
- where can we buy the mosquito screens that go in the windows cause ours are damaged
- where can we buy a fourth arm for the bike rack on the tailgate
- any tips for dealing with the heat in the van
- any items that are essential when abroad

Spare parts in the shop (discount when signing up for VIP member witch you are)
Not sure about bike rack parst doh....
Change you verhicle details (still says looking to buy) , post some pictures of your precious,...work to do...

Hi and welcome.
Items 1&2 order from your Cali VW dealer.
3, We try to keep cool if really hot by having a late night cool shower, sleep on top of mattress and have a small 6" fan blowing on us.
4. Does your Cali have breakdown cover for Europe? Common sense items as in E111 cards, hi vis jackets etc for breakdowns. You should have a converter with the Cali for the hookup lead as some sites have a Euro 2 pin socket.
