I was at Manchester Business school when someone, a Manchester City supporter, invited me to join him at Maine Road.
I was told all about Summerbee, "Franny" Lee, Tony Book et.al.
I like football. No one could take there eyes off the blonde haired midfielder, Every other City game I went to it was the same. Elegant, powerful, brilliant running, always in the right place, a great goalscorer.
I will say he was one of the finest players I have ever seen kick a ball, not until I saw Paul Scholes at his best have I seen an English player like it.
I'm sure he will be in God's first 11.
