rcd310 aux input poor volume

Hi. I've been trying to use an MP3 player connected up via the aux-input socket in the glovebox to my RCD310. It works but the volume is very low whatever volume settings I choose on both the player and the RCD310. Does anyone have any advice about low volume issues in scenarios such as this? Thanks for any ideas.

It will work! You need to hit the sounds button and play with the settings IIRC it could be the base setting. See how you go if no good I will pop into the garage and do a flow chart thingy for you.

Thanks! Sorted... Not under sounds but in settings there is a setting aux-lvl or something like that which sorts the aux volume level. I'd missed that totally! It comes out at a reasonable volume now.... So I can now be bombarded with the contents of the teenage princess's MP3 player!
