Recommend campsite south of Bordeaux

We will be travelling from Pyrenees to Brittany at the end of August and are looking for a nice spot for one night somewhere just south of Bordeaux.

Ideally somewhere not too far off the A65 Autoroute, and we really like quiet simple campsites.

We stayed at the municipal campsite at Mios once and that was fine. Got treated to town festival and fireworks.

We stayed at Camping Bimbo late September 2017. Just loved the name.

Probably too far west for you, but a delightful site with a heated swimming pool and good cycling

If you’re prepared to go a little north of Bordeaux we had an a nice over night stopover at Camping Chez Gendron (chezgendron.com) near Mirambeau.

Hi. I have the ACSI card, and if you look at their website, there are 2 campings (that support ACSI) near the A 65.

ACSI is very interesting if you go camping in low season because they can give you a discount.
