Removing the sliding table from kitchen unit

Hi, I'm really hoping someone will be able to help us with information/instructions on how to remove the sliding table which is attached to the kitchen unit on a 2019 Ocean.

We want to replace the table with a new one because the leg is broken and we are not going to be able to fix it. I've found a place to buy one so I know they're not cheap, but I thought I'd ask here before I order it.

I think it looks like we need to remove the corner piece of the trim by the sink and then slide the table off? Does that sound right? I'm hoping someone here will either have done it before, or will know the answer.

This thread should help you to remove the table. However...

It would be interesting to know (and perhaps see a photo of) what exactly is broken. There have been interesting and useful solutions in the past for a broken off leg and other problems with the sliding table. But all depends on what exactly broke in your case.

Hi, thanks for your reply, I hadn't seen that thread even though I'd done a search so that's really helpful. I will go back and look at the replacement table on the website where I found it, I'd assumed the replacement would include the top bit but I can see I might have been wrong about that.

The bit that's broken apart is the hinge, and I know various people have found various solutions but honestly I don't think our skills are up to that! We'd also be worried that the table would give way at the worst moment and cover our dog, who's likely to be underneath, with boiling hot food.
