Replaced T6 ABS Rear Right Sensor - 'incorrect component'

I had a whole bunch of abs/ tyre warning etc light appear and carista reported rear right abs sensor faulty. I replaced it with a vw oem WHT003856C. It is the same as the original part number except it has a c on the end. The old one had no revision letter. I thought this was just a revision number so would be fine. Now I am getting carista code C101D4A Right Rear ABS Wheel Speed Sensor - Incorrect Component Installed

Would replacing the nearside with the rev c one help (i have it but haven't put it on yet. I only have street parking so its quite difficult so stopped after the side with the code hoping it would be sorted.

Any help very much appreciated.

Wht003856 is valid from 01/06/21 onwards, the part number with a C suffix isnt listed as compatible
