We have a T6.1 California and our Labrador lays in his bed on the floor behind our front seats and seldom moves but clearly it would be better to restrain him in some way if we were ever involved in an accident.
My thoughts are to get a tested harness for him then tether that to the bench seat safety belt or get a tether that clips into the seatbelt buckle. Has anyone tried a similar method for what is a large dog of have any other ideas I could look into.
Thanks for you help

Kong make an iso fix compatible kit that attaches like a child seat, and it is really good even with a 30+kg 13 month alsatian, really secure and easy to move between vehicles

As the dog is on the floor a harness that clips to a Rail Luggage point would probably work better.
Rail luggage point slides into Rail and locked.
