Retro-Fitting a safe

Can anyone advise on the ease or otherwise of retro-fitting a safe box to a Cali?
Our new Cali arrives in a couple of weeks but does not come with a fasctory fitted safe. I have read that the safe can be ordered as a part from VW & fitted with pop-rivets. Does anyone have any experience of doing this? Is it easy as it sounds: drilling a few holes & using a normal B&Q pop rivet set?

Mike, there is a post on here somewhere about this but I can't seem to find it! I do remember it saying though that it was just a 10 minute job as the safe just drops straight into the space at the bottom of the wardrobe and there are about eight rivets.
