If you had twin sliders which side would you have the awning on?
I'm fitting one next week to my Caravelle, brackets once fitted are glued as well as bolted so swapping from side to side isn’t practical.
Would you want one either side?
TIA

Do you want the winder on the front or rear :

RHS (off side U.K.) winder on rear (Thule) sliding door restricts access when open, not really a problem
LHS (NS U.K.) winder on front over drivers door

I think it’s one of those personal preference things

If budget allowed I might go for both :)

Yes was thinking about that, we’re booked to go into Europe middle of August (Covid rules permitting) we have an inflatable awning but might not take it, we’re not staying on one site for more than 1 or 2 nights. Mind you I was surprised how heavy these are! Thanks

Yes but not had one before just getting a feel for it, plan to be in Europe for a marathon trip, I was advised for overnight stays these are really useful for speed and easy when setting out again, thanks
