Problem would be the sockets are fused at 15 amps. most plugs are rated at 15-20 amps hence protected by the circuit fuse.

In a house the sockets are supplied by a 32 amp circuit breaker yet the plugs are fused at 13 amps,what is the difference?
Also, I think you will find the 7.5 Amp rating is for 24v, so the rating is probably 15 Amp at 12volts
