Roof canvas - new material

Just collected a new2023 6.1 ocean 4 motion having previously owned a T5 4 motion. The new roof canvas is an improvement, seems a lot thicker and robust, HOWEVER at the moment it’s a devil of a job tucking it in when closing roof to ensure the sliding tamber hatch closes. In fact it’s quite difficult and I’m wondering if this improves once canvas becomes more supple? Thoughts appreciated.

Also in the showroom was. 2023 150 California Ocean. Oddly that had a different thinner canvas?

Same with our 6.1 and old material. Took a few weeks to loosen. Ok now. Guess the new material will be same. We also had an issue that the tamber had not been fitted into its rails properly at the factory needing a fettle which made it feel like it was the material that was the problem but was in fact the tamber.
