Roof corrosion

Hi all,
I am currently looking for a Cali se, and wondered if anyone out there knows the VW production start date for UK Cali's built with the anti corrosion modifications on the track.

Any information much appreciated.

I asked my dealer when I bought our mid 2014 van. He checked with VW at brandsupport@vwcv.co.uk and the answer given was:

"The new process was put in place in Qtr 4 2014"

I've heard mid-2014 mentioned elsewhere, so there seems to be some uncertainty about the exact date.

Interesting.
When we bought ours we asked Guy at Preston Vw and he said mid 2013 was the date for the new process. I have also seen this date mentioned on here in the past.
Ours was built Jan 14, no sign of corrosion on the front panel yet.
(Although the elevating roof has had to be repaired for this)
