While we were touring France, we had a hitch with the roof. When closing, one front corner wouldn't lie flush with the roof, it was raised about an inch. After much raising & lowering, and a bit of panicking, I found that the problem was that the bolt / rivet at the very top of the front support arm had come loose. It was sticking out about 1cm, and that was stopping the roof closing on that corner.
I managed to hammer it back in place, not very easily I might add, then a few strips of duct tape held it in for the rest of the trip. I haven't had a good look at it since I've been back, but I hope it is an easy fix for the dealer. I haven't seen this problem mentioned, so I hope it is a one off. I'll add it to the 'winter repair' list.
