bellows closing wrong way

I closed the roof as normal. Later I saw that it had not closed on one side as the bellows had not fallen inside but outside thereby trapping the roof as it went down bending it and it not closing. Has anybody else had them closing outwards?

There are a few reasons why it could have got caught in the roof.
Sad to say most are human error being that the correct operation hadn't been passed on by the dealership or if a used cali the seller didn't stress enough or show correct operation at the sale of the cali ....
