Roof question

I was told by a vw salesman that the 2015 cali had a peace of plastic between the two metals on the elevating roof,does anybody know if this is so.What percentage of calis have this problem would vw tell us would they lie One of my friends has a 2006 cali one of the first right hand drives in the country and his cali elevating roof is perfect.

I think 2015 Cali's should be out of the roof corrosion problem.

So is my elevating roof, but not the front panel, which suffers from galvonic reaction.
