Samsung Galaxy S5 bluetooth connection.

I have a Galaxy S5 & have bluetooth installed in my Cali. When It connects the RNS510 screen automatically changes to 'Media'. I would like it to just connect & do nothing else. I can find no way of doing this. Does anyone have any ideas.
S5 runs Android Lollipop, possibly this is a 'feature' of lollipop, I hope not. I believe it has only behaved like this since upgrading to Lollipop.
