I have VW navigation on my Coast. I have it (so far) working well for route planning. Managed to avoid off-road and tolls etc, got favourites, home sorted out, and the really handy ‘sightseeing’…which if you type in search gives you list by distance of sights found some gems this way!
I have the unit paired to my phone for data, and it is connected to WiFi at home. System updates download fine so I think it has data connections working.
But….the thing that I just can’t figure out is live traffic updates working. I have turned on route planning and traffic on the settings (I think) having been through the manual.
I can’t tell if it’s working and I don’t see anything on screen indicating it’s on (like on google maps or Waze).
is there something in the settings somewhere I have missed? Should I see traffic updates like green/orange lines, road works etc on the route planned?
Am I meant to see traffic and congestion and rerouting happening??
