Hi people,

I've put a deposit down on a ex demo beach - very excited. Just a quick question for all you pros out there. There were some blobs of what looked like white sealant in the channel where the water runs off at the bottom of the bellows. It's the bit on the main body of the van and is covered up when the roof is down. Is this normal or should it just be paint here. It just looked wrong to me - only comsidered it on reflection. Anyone else got this on their vans?

On my 2012 SE there's also been some "kitting " of white sealant only visible when roof up ....
Guess it's factory fitted;)

Thanks hotel California

Funny how the ones on the factoy video all have shiny clean channels!

I'm alway suspicious of filler/sealant in unusual places as it could be hiding stuff.

Blobs of sealant on mine as well. These ones would have been applied by the people doing the roof repair but I'm pretty sure that there were factory applied ones there before.

Got sealant blobs on mine and pretty sure they are not there to hide anything.

Been checking it out on mine this weekend , it is more like grey colored seal instead of white
Still i think it is a factory fit.....:D
