Am looking for 1 x replacement screw to replace the one that was sheared (and superglued back in place by some clever person when the lesuire battery was replaced)!

Have attached a pic of the type of screw for reference (machine screw, pan head countersunk slotted). Want to know what thread it is, not anything I've got.

Local VW van centre cannot identify the stowage net or the screws although this was clearly fitted on the assembly line.

Don't think from a Google search, that these are common place.

Thanks

Pretty sure that’s not factory fitted. Lots of members chatting about various things they have jury rigged to use that space. This looks like one of those nets you buy at the Camping and Caravan show.

There's one fitted in the cab, lower dash on some apparently (or this is what VW advised, these use self tappers though). I'll make a solution.
The screw holes are tapped on ours and geometrically bang on (hence my from factory stance). OK thanks

just normal self tapper screws

Excellent
A match minus the head might be perfect

Sorted!

Small self tappers & boom

Initially I thought this install was by VW (why would I not, most would use self tapping screws not machine screws). Now it seems it was done be an enthusiastic Cali camper!

Buy some rubber nut inserts and some machine screws to match, this will give the fixing some vibration resistance and re-useability. your picture of the screws look like 3.5mm used for electrical socket faceplates
