Silent Coat? Noise deadening an old van.

Anyone have any experience with this kind of stuff? I want to add it to my 1985 T25 which is an AAZ 1.9 TD. It's quite noisy and could use some help.

Trying to fathom how much of this stuff I would need to quieten down the engine bay (rear) and the air filter area (rear sides). ALso could add some to insides of all doors and panels. as well as behind the seats.

Someone told me 30% coverage is enough but wanted some views.

I have no experience personally, but the self-converters seem to put it every where, behind all body panels , wheel arches, floor and bulkhead.
