Sliding cover to popup roof

Does anyone else have the problem with the sliding hatch to the roof opening when driving...???
It opens about an inch, tried fettling but still no cure. It isn't a major issue, but would be nice if it stayed closed like it's meant too.

I was wondering about a strip of Velcro on the inside, might just be enough to hold it closed...???

Works a treat just put it between the runners.

Of you have used the search function you have come up with plenty of other existing treads and members comment.

But to anwer the Q : yes it happens on mine also , and on many others....better get used to it or try and solve it with some DIY like mentiont.

Sounds like a common problem, ours is same on T6 beach! Going to try the felt tape see if that works!

When I had the T5 roof fabric I had the same problem, and somebody on the forum suggested inserting a credit card - worked a treat.

Now that I have the T6 fabric (as part of roof repair) the fabric is much thicker and comfortably holds the hatch in place.

Get some friction tape (Lidl off en have it) and just use a small bit on the 2 sides of the runners. Problem solved
