Hi All
I had the sliding door blind fixed under warranty a couple of years ago (it wouldn't stay down). The bottom fixing has now fallen off as it t was glued on. The lower panel trim is out of alignment with the upper one and therefore the fixing isn't in line with the blind. Has anyone had experience of removing or replacing the lower trim, should the fixing at the bottom the channel be glued on or can anyone direct me to a parts diagram? Thanks

If you search for a post from @vwguru, he showed how to remove the trim and modify the fixing to align the slot. I did it and the slot now lines up.

Hi Steve, after some searching I found it

Post #14 has the pictorial method

Good luck, report back on progress ( good old VWGuru, gone but never forgotten)

Has the VWGURU gone gone, or just not posting?

Part 10.
I don’t think it is normally glued on. This is for a T5.1 I don’t know if it is the same on the T6

Many thanks. It looks very similar. How did you find the parts diagram? Is there a web site?

Thanks. I will try it. Is it easy to remove the trim as I don’t want to damage it and I don’t have any specialist trim removing tools?

Thanks. All sorted. Cutting the rubber spacer has made all the difference and the top and bottom trim line up perfectly.

Hi Steve, can I ask if it was easy taking the upper trim etc off? I need to attempt this fix as annoyed with the blind not going all the way down! Reasonably confident taking trim off as had to fix the catch on the sliding door table. Thanks

Yes. I purchased a trim removing set on line but the trim pulls apart fairly easily
