I've had my 6.1 Ocean for a year now and had the same problems as others with the SOS button and slow loading of the user profile on startup. Still need the dealer to sort out the SOS issue but over the last couple of months I've found that by going into the Users section of the menu (I've got Discover Pro) and selecting 'Synchronise' that then seems to fix the slow profile load - at least until the next SOS error occurs when everything gets messed-up again.
It works for me so might be worth a try.
