Where would I find the starter motor? If I had a little time tomorrow and did want to check connections!?

3 minutes in it was pretty clear I wasn’t going to attempt that. I kept with it past “I’m going to remove this pipe…” but nah, way too mechanical for me.

Starter motor replaced today as part of service/mot. Approximate cost £350.
They were mainly going on my opinion based on this thread.
I’ll give it a go every day for next couple of days.

As part of the MOT they said the rear brake pads would need doing next time. I mentioned that the pads have never been changed on my 2008 T5. John then said I must have changed the front ones. I’m 90% certain I haven’t. I said we might do all of them next time…
