Can anyone recommend fitting of the genuine VW lower spring kits to their T5 Cali? Does it actually improve the ride/handling.

Laws of physics says it does. Lower C of G.

Our T6 has the VW lowering springs as did the T5 before it, and yes it does, good for motion sickness as well.

Fitted at the dealers warranted, also advise your insurance company as all modifications, Comfort did not have an issue but they like to know.

Out of interest, does the T5 have adjustable front camber as per T4?

Often is the case that lowered springs are fitted, perhaps even better dampers but there could be more gain if the suspension is set up correctly for the revised ride height.
