T5 Cockpit - SatNav / DAB install

Hi

I’m looking at buying a 2007 T5 Cali in the next week. It currently has a CD unit on the dash, Apologies if this is a dumb question (Thats probably been answered many times but I couldnt find it on search) but is it easy enough to get it replaced with a screen for radio / dab / MP3 and reversing camera?

Got our 2011 T5.1 a year ago with the horrible stock VW DAB radio unit (the square one) and took me ages to decide With what it should replace. In the end it was a bezel for double DIN with a excellent Kenwood radio and a CAN interface added for the clima and reverse sensor interfacing. Has built in Navi, CarPlay and android auto and superb sound.
The only regret is that the Kenwood does not send Navi data to the Center console of VW.
Search the forum for “Zenec“ which was a possible radio replacement candidate and read my findings.
